A Technology Based Entrepreneurship Development Programme (TEDP) primarily focuses on training and development need of S&T entrepreneurs in a specific technology area. This TEDP on "Integrating IoT with Web and Mobile Applications" is a unique programme wherein the participants are exposed to recent development in IoT and its applications. Programme will cover in detail about developing IoT Systems and Devices (from designing device, connecting sensors and actuators, communication protocols and APIs). In addition the programme will deal with integrating IoT with applications running on the web and mobile platforms. As IoT is a massive network of connected things and people – all of which collect and share data about the way they are used and about the environment around them. Several case studies and success stories in domains like Agriculture, Health Care, Smart Cities, etc. will be discussed.

In each TEDP, 25 persons, having a degree/ diploma in S&T are trained through a structured training programme of about 6 weeks duration. The TEDP provides class room training on motivational management areas besides actual hands-on training in the specific technology areas by technology providers.
